RED ONION & FETA CHEESE TART (Smoky Onion Garlic Mustard)


1 sheet puff pastry
3 tablespoons E&V Smoky Onion Garlic Mustard
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
½ red onion, sliced very thin
1 tablespoon olive oil
¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten

Preparation & Cooking Instructions:
Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl blend together E&V Smoky Onion Garlic Mustard and balsamic vinegar and set aside. In a large skillet heat olive oil and cook onion slices until soft. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Place puff pastry on a non-stick baking sheet and brush with mustard mixture, top with onions and feta cheese. Brush edges with egg and bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown around edges and cheese is melted.
