Ingredients: Cranberry walnut artisan bread loaf Goat cheese log Pine nuts, toasted Earth & Vine Provisions Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter
Preheat broiler. Slice bread into ½ inch slices. Slice goat cheeselog into 1/8 inch medallions. Top each slice of bread with two goat cheese medallions. Drizzle a teaspoon or more of Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter over cheese and broil for a few minutes, watching closely not to burn. You want the bread lightly toasted around edges and cheese warm and soft but not burned. Remove and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
Tressa'sTip: Your local specialty grocer has lots of great choices in artisan breads. Choose a fig, cranberry or currant bread with or without nuts. Rosemary would also be a great choice. |
