CARAMEL PEACH CAKE INGREDIENTS: ¼ lb or 1 stick butter
PREPARATION: Preheat oven to 350. In a 9-inch Pyrex dish melt 2 tablespoons butter in warm oven, remove from oven & sprinkle 3 tablespoons of brown sugar over melted butter & set aside. In a medium sized bowl whisk together eggs, 6 tablespoons melted butter, 9oz of Peach Chipotle Jam & brown sugar. Whisk milk into egg mixture and set aside. In separate bowl whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder & salt. Whisk flour mixture into egg mixture until smooth. Bake for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes, run butter knife around edges and invert cake onto platter. Enjoy with fresh whipped cream and fresh peaches (optional). |
