Ingredients: 2 cups good quality ginger snaps, finely ground 1 cup pecans, finely ground 4 oz butter 14 oz Brie 9 oz Earth & Vine Provisions Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter 3 ripe pears, thinly sliced. Use a soft variety such as Bartlett 1 pomegranate, optional
Cooking Instructions: You will need a 11 x 1 inch tart pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Trim rind off Brie and bring to room temperature. In a medium bowl combine ground ginger snaps and pecans, melt butter in microwave and mix into ginger mixture with fingers until moist. Firmly press mixture evenly into bottom of tart pan and bake for 10 minutes or until slightly golden. Remove from oven and while crust is hot, gently spread Brie over crust and let cool. Cool and spread Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter over Brie, fan out pear slices and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. Serve at room temperature. |
